Position Title: 계약심사부(Underwriting & Issues) Underwriter(사원~주임)

Objective : To determine whether to take new business/reinstatement or not through assessing the risk of it

 

Role and Responsibilities

 

1. Underwriting

- Determine whether to take new business, belated disclosure, pre-underwriting and reinstatement cases or not through assessing the risks of them in accordance with underwriting guidelines within authority levels

- Apply rating to ensure safe profitable distribution of risks, using reference materials

- Maintain proper documentation related to underwriting workings

- Provide re-underwriting opinion to related parties such as VOC and Claims

 

2. Response to enquiries

- Take the ownership and responsibility for sales force’s enquiries politely and efficiently on the telephone or via mail

- Provide sales force with courteous, prompt and complete explanations of underwriting for which application is declined/rejected or are rated/excluded

 

3. Other responsibilities

- Performs other responsibilities and duties such as UATs periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements

 

Requirements

- University graduate or above

- Insurance related knowledge

- Strong interpersonal/relationship skill

- High self-motivation and positive working attitude

- Good interpersonal and communication skills
